Posted 08/05/2014

The four animals tested positive for bovine TB during a routine six month check at Manor Farm in middle Duntisbourne. The animals had only recently received medication for worming. This prevented them from being taken to a local abattoir for slaughter.

Farmers are blaming the badger wildlife for the spread of the disease, from the 1st of June the 2nd year of badger culling will commence in Somerset and Gloucestershire.
