Plot with pre-project in Son Vida

The plot is located in Son Vida.
It is a plot with a very steep slope, which seems to overlook the bay of Palma. Because of this slope, the design of the building is made in several semi-buried floors.
On the adjoining plot, there is a protected green area on which another house cannot be built. This means that the project plot will be protected on this side by a large mass of trees.
The project is divided into a series of floors oriented to the east due to the geometry of the plot.
The road access is through the street, going down the slope of the land through a ramp that reaches the covered floor. On this roof is the parking area, the main access to the house, a large terrace that can be used chill-out area and space for solar panels.
On the first floor, there is the day area consisting of a living-dining-kitchen space which is also directly connected to the outdoor terraces. In addition, on this floor we find a bedroom with its own bathroom, and a study (directly connected to the parking space by exterior stairs). All the rooms are connected by an exterior corridor with vegetation, for a better integration in the wooded character of the plot. On this floor, there is also a swimming pool facing southeast, with a beach area and the corresponding outdoor terrace.
On the ground floor, is where the other bedrooms are located, all with their own bathroom, 3 of them with large closets and the master bedroom with a dressing area. In addition, on this floor has been designed a space for as a small gym, a laundry and room storage (which are more linked to the facilities area). The ground floor is connected to the roof through an exterior metal staircase. All the rooms, as on the upper floor, are connected through an exterior vegetated corridor.
One of the intentions of the project was to integrate the building into the landscape of this area with its steep slope and vegetation.
It is a contemporary architectural design based on natural stone walls and vegetated elements, in addition to the appropriate use of materials, which allows the project to be integrated into the typical landscape of Son Vida.[IW]
