Livestock was the main event at this year's Borderway Agri Expo, held at Carlisle on Friday 31st October. Organised by Harrison and Hetherington, the event featured a number of livestock shows, including the Supreme Cattle Championships, Hereford National Calf Show, Aberdeen Angus Winter National Show and and the Border British Blue Club Calf Show.
Championship winners include Dermot Small's Khaleesi, which won Supreme Champion in addition to Champion Heifer. Champion Baby Beef was awarded to Pokerlicious, while Robert Miller's Dashing Lady was awarded Reserve Champion.
There were a wide range of stands for visitors to enjoy at the show, including those from sponsors Lloyds Bank, Cogent Breeding and Norbrook Laboratories. The UK's cattle and sheep breed socities exhibited, along with agricultural services offering everything from storage to food supplements.
