Livestock the star of the show at Stranraer

Posted 18/07/2014

The star of this year’s Stranraer Show will undoubtedly be livestock. Some of the best animals from across Scotland will be on show for visitors to experience up close. This year’s livestock judging, which starts at 9 am, promises to be one of the best competitions, with prizes also on offer for best young handler.

There will, of course, be a selection of events for the whole family to enjoy, including performances from duo Robyn & Claire, Jousting Scotland, a display from Glenluce Vintage Tractors and show jumping demonstrations. There’s also cooking demonstrations, a variety of stalls and local artwork to admire.

The Stranraer Show will be held on Wednesday 30th July in Stranraer, Wigtownshire, Scotland from 9am – 6pm.
